Posme is a mobile app operated by Rulead (“Posme”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be read, not just filed.
The short version: you can use Posme without an account. The app runs no ads, no analytics and no tracking SDKs, and we don't sell your data. Photos you take stay on your device — only a single frame is sent to our AI provider when you ask for a pose, and only to create that pose. This website is a separate thing: it uses analytics cookies, and only if you accept them — see section 9.
1. Information we collect
We keep collection to what the app actually needs.
Without an account
- A device identifier we generate on first launch, so the app works and stays limited to one session per device. It is not your real-world identity.
- The gender you choose during onboarding, used only to personalize the example poses and images you see.
- Your app language preference.
If you sign in with Google or Apple
Sign-in is optional and only through Google or Apple. When you use it, we receive from that provider:
- Your name
- Your email address (Apple may give you a private relay address instead — that's fine)
- Your profile photo URL, if your account has one
- A provider user ID that lets us recognize your account
We do not collect passwords (the provider handles sign-in), and we do not collect a phone number.
Photos and camera
- Posme uses your camera for a live preview and to let you take photos.
- When you ask for a pose suggestion, one still frame is sent to our server and forwarded to a third-party AI provider, which returns a pose-guide overlay and a few short text cues. That frame is used only to generate your result.
- Photos you actually capture are stored on your device only and are never uploaded anywhere.
Purchases
Subscription purchases are handled by the Apple App Store, Google Play, and our subscription provider RevenueCat. We receive your purchase and entitlement status — never your card number.
Technical data
Basic server logs (timestamps, error codes, request IDs) to keep the service reliable, and your shot balance and transaction history.
2. How we use it
- To provide the core feature — turning a submitted frame into a pose guide.
- To keep your account, shot balance, and purchase status accurate.
- To personalize example content (from your gender selection and language).
- To diagnose errors and keep Posme running.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.
3. Who we share it with
We share only what a provider needs to do its job. We never sell your personal information.
| Provider | Purpose | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Third-party AI provider | Generates the pose guide and text cues | The single photo frame you submit for that request |
| Supabase | Account sign-in and sessions | Your name, email, and provider account ID |
| RevenueCat | Subscription and purchase management | Purchase receipts and entitlement status |
| Apple / Google | App-store payments and sign-in | Payment is handled entirely by the platform; we never see card details |
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and our service.
4. Your US privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or deletion of it, to correct it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not “sell” your personal information and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. Because we don't sell or share, there is no opt-out to configure — but you can still exercise the rights above.
To make a request, email us at [email protected]. You may use an authorized agent; we may need to verify your identity before we act. We will respond within the timeframes the law requires.
Categories we collect map to CCPA categories: identifiers (device ID, account ID, email), customer records (name), commercial information (purchases), internet/usage activity (technical logs), and visual information (the single frame you submit and, on your device only, your photos).
5. Children
Posme is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Data retention
- Account data is kept while your account exists.
- The submitted frame is used to generate your result and is not stored by us as part of your gallery; your captured photos live only on your device.
- Credit-ledger entries are kept as a permanent record of grants and spends.
- You can request deletion at any time (see below).
7. Your choices
- Use Posme anonymously — no account required.
- Revoke camera access anytime in your device settings (the pose and capture features need it to work).
- Request access to or deletion of your data by emailing [email protected].
- We honor Global Privacy Control and “Do Not Track” signals to the extent applicable — though since we don't track across sites, there's little to opt out of.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to keep the surface small — which is why photos stay on your device and the app itself carries no ad or analytics SDKs.
9. This website (cookies and analytics)
Everything above describes the Posme app. This website — posme.ai — is separate, and it does use cookies, so here is exactly what happens on it.
- Nothing analytical runs until you choose. On your first visit a banner asks; until you answer, and if you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is sent.
- If you accept, we load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-FV9279P8ZK). It sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies to count visits and see which pages people read. IP addresses are truncated by Google before storage.
- Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage, not on our servers. You can change it any time from the link in the footer, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
- Our host, Cloudflare, also serves the site and may record aggregate request data for delivery and security. That is not tied to you as a person.
- The site has no ads, no advertising pixels, no social trackers, and no login.
10. International users
Rulead is based in Türkiye, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. If you are in Türkiye or the EU/UK, please also see our KVKK / GDPR notice for the rights and legal bases that apply to you.
11. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for material changes, surface a notice in the app.
